LMBCS winning prestigious Award and Certificate of Recognition – Best Sharodatsav
We are delighted to share some exciting news that brings great pride to our community. Lower Mainland Bengali Cultural Society of BC – LMBCS have been honored with the prestigious award for Best Sharadatsav from the Greatest Show on Earth- GSOE in association with Global Connect and Heritage Bengal Global. GSOE , a boutique travel company, organizes and conducts tours and surveys to numerous iconic pandals in Kolkata, both traditional and innovative, and awards those that excel in various categories like decoration, theme, and community involvement where many renowned celebrities are part of the selection panel . Last year they included another segment “Probashe Pujo” where they conduct surveys in various part of the world and included Lower Mainland Bengali Cultural Society of BC – LMBCS with Certificate of Recognition for our exceptional dedication and efforts in promoting rich cultural heritage of Sharadatsav on a global scale since 1977.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of one of our senior community members Vijay Chakraborty. Vijay Da who has played a pivotal role in coordinating and organizing this outstanding celebration. Their vision and commitment to Bangla Club have not only brought the essence of Sharadotsav to life but have also earned us this esteemed recognition outside of India. Big Kudos to Vijoy Da and Rupa Di for giving us a proud moment.
Unfortunately we weren’t able to participate in their award ceremony event held at Kolkata during July and Vijay Da later, on behalf of LMBCS family, collected the prestigious award during his Kolkata Trip.
Let’s come together to celebrate our shared success and continue to strengthen the bonds that make our community truly exceptional for this year’s Mahalaya , Sharodatsav, Deepavali events.
